@@Loganwolfen Yea that or he got the car as a present from his parents, As for CD's he didn't have to have loads of money- he could of saved for it they were only like £2.99 for a single and £9.99 from an album back then-Or got some for his birthday or Xmas presents-I remember my dad wouldn't let me touch the his CD Hi-Fi as a 4 year old-He wuld always it isn't a toy lol

This takes me back many years! Tracey and her then boyfriend Brad, used to house share with my brother, sister and others in a grotty house in Leytonstone, London - Grove Green Road. The house was later demolished to make way for a new road.

Gone and not coming back unfortunately. Getting old is another side of shit and depression you don't experience as a young broke pissed off frustrated young man.
I think Woody was their drummer for the album in the UK recordeing. He;s on most videos. Madness were enjoying their money at that time, and not in need of re-forming!

He was obviously a member of the band not a session musican-As was in all the interviews, Recordings, And as you said music videos-Woody left the band in the summer of 1992 to get back with Madness remember???

Cannot believe this is 30 years ago since this was a hit. Loved all the C86 Indie bands. Voice of the Beehive one of most successful up to 1992. Saw Voice of the Beehive live at the Riverside in Newcastle. Danced away with the fans merrily to them. Let it Be a classic album & their enthusiasm and sense of fun the mark of this band.

They are rather dated. There were lots of girls bands with the same sound, Bangles, Strawberry Switchblade &c. Not really super-memorable tunes, not punk, nor new wave, a tadge 80s 'feel good' but no real 'edge', maybe that's why.

Is that the drummer from Madness? This video as a kid was also what started my love wearing leather jeans and would for the first time wear them aged 15 on a school trip and that attention from girls 20 years ago, still love it. I am blessed to have been able to pull them off and normally steal looks or chat ups from your girlfriends in a queue in a supermarket or nightclub. So thankyou girls of Beehive
