The guitar he’s playing was in possession of his daughter, Frances Bean. She gave it to her now ex-husband, Isaiah, before they ended up divorcing. They just settled the legal battle over the guitar (she wanted it back ) but terms have not been disclosed. He did say, “Sing it for me.” Dave wrapped his drumsticks with wrapping paper because Kurt wanted a such a soft sound. RIP, Kurt. We miss you so much! ❤️❤️❤️

When he looks back, everyone else starts playing. He was playing alone before that point. The unplugged guitar just sold at an auction in June 2020...for a record $6M.

Kurt had to cancel the last leg of their 1994 European tour due to vocal polyps. The band also began tuning down a half step on all songs in early 1992, because Kurt was struggling vocally. Amazing voice but his style was definitely negatively impacting his vocal health.

The dave grohl hitting too hard story is correct. In preparation for this performance Kurt got increasing frustrated with Grohl, bc he simply couldn't hit soft enough. Even during sound check the day of the performance! So one of the producers ran across the street literally to the nearest music store and bought him all those funky styled sticks you see him using in various songs throughout the set. True story! I have been a hardcore fan of Kurt's & Nirvana for 29 years (since 1993)... I love seeing these reaction videos, with people who "get oit" as far as what Kurt was trying to accomplish! Which was just being Kurt... not some perfect music performer. Take me as I am - or dont, mentality! Which is why he one of the best all time!

I heard that there was concern for his vocal health. They got him to go to one session, he never went back. Dave Grohl references it here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/pJ6rsXamq4yAhaQ
