For anyone replicating what Bog is doing at 3:26 , you'll have to convert the voice memos format to wav to be able to import them in audacity.

Hey great video, really indept tutorial, one qurstion, how do large open spaces cause echos because in large open spaces there are no walls for the sound to bounce off
@bogxd
8 ай бұрын
Good observation, I meant large as in large rooms and open as in very little furniture, carpets, etc.

my audacity has different compressor settings/menu, im on windows if that makes a difference. If so, what are the optimal settings? threshold -20db make-up gain? knee width? ratio 3.5 lookahead? attack 20ms release 100ms edit: i used 0.0 knee width and 13.6 make-up gain and the wave seemed similar, the voiceover does as well

to be completely honest, the audio on this video doesn't sound great to me. It's pretty good but a bit muffled.

@@bogxd it's still good, could just be me haha. I suspect just the mic might not be catching as much detail as a really expensive mic.

Why do you prefer using Adobe Premiere Pro over DaVinci Resolve?

Just because I started using it first, I haven't touched DaVinci enough to make a fair comparison or to consider switching

It does result in lot of unfixable audio chops and slurry speech when the AI doesn't recognize the word you're speaking tho
