This one's a real favourite of mine, so full of humourous glances, J stealing Geoffs line at the end and Layne was perfectly hilarious as the chef. My favourite bit though, has to be Geoff unexpectedly encroaching on Eli's territory, doing a high rock belt and sliding down 3 octaves, ending up where you expect him to be, in the depths! Loved the reaction, thanks! 🙂👍

Well, nearly 3 octaves (B4-D2; 2 octaves 9 semitones)... considering the average person has a range of 1 octave 9 semitones, that is mind blowing. And, the fact is, he could have went lower without issue... the D2 was the resolution note for the key. With how he is at resolving an octave lower lately (like he did with a subharmonic on his solo in "Nothing Else Matters"), I imagine he would of here if he had the technique in his bag of tricks back then.

@@johndeeregreen4592 Thanks for the correction and info John! Considering my only and limited knowledge of music comes from Geoff's Q & A's and webchats, I think I did pretty well to guess at 3 octaves, so I'm happy to be nearly right. Cheers! 🙂 Btw, just saw your video, very cool!

This is the first one where I fully appreciated Layne’s sense of humor. He does SUCH a great job as the chef, plus there’s just so much going on in this-and Geoff as Ursula! Great reaction as always!

Thanks for your reaction to this one! Rachel Potter actually performed as Ariel, the little mermaid in the show at Magic Kingdom in Orlando Florida (5 shows a day, 5 days a week for 5 years before switching over to performing as Bella in their "Beauty And The Beast" show. I love Geoff as the evil Ursula here.

The singing and voice work in this are outstanding as always! Layne as Chef Louis in particular cracks me up, and Geoff makes a fine Ursula. Some of the costumes and effects, alas, strike me as so very far over-the-top that the contact embarrassment makes parts of it difficult to watch. Dorking out is one thing, and I love it when they do, but they shouldn't have to surrender every last scrap of dignity. I think they got the balance much better in their Moana Medley and We Don't Talk About Bruno. Still, this is a great number, and I'm glad you had fun reacting to it!
