What an incredible person Kate Allat is. I was in hospital with her for a short while when I fractured my skull. To see her lying next to me unable to speak walk and eat was heartbreaking. I left hospital crying as I couldn't imagine how her life would be with such severe disabilities. I now meet with her for long dog walks and lunches. She listens and advises me on so many life challenges. She is an inspiration. I love you Kate x

My dad just had a major stroke and they think he has locked in syndrome. He is so determined and stubborn and positive that I can’t help but feel like he’s gonna recover. Thank you for sharing this.

I am currently working with 2 people with locked in syndrome and hope to use hypnosis to get them on their way to recovery. This gives me enormous hope. An amazing story!

@@thisisduncan917 We never tried, but his speech therapist and physiotherapist did a great job, I haven't seen him since unfortunately!

My brother is currently in locked in syndrome! Can you help him? He’s doing amazingly well and has come a long way in such a short period of time (2.5 months) breathing completely on his own! Swallowing with no problem!
