Classic Voivod just can't be beat. They were indeed way ahead of their time. This is killer footage and I wish I had it. I can only hope to find it on dime one day. At least I can watch it here. Thanks for posting it MetalWheel, it's highly appreciated.

This was my first Voivod cassette. Snake was at his peak; never screamed quite as viciously after 1984, but by this time he had evolved into a sort of space metal Mick Jagger. I especially like how instead of trying to hit those high notes, he goes an octave lower

I was really possessed with them between rrrooooaarrr, killing technology and especially hätröss. This album is still a blast, one of my alltime favourites. Never gets boring!

@@666TheKaiser That time during the scene was the best. Live bands were brutal, though the crowd was tite we knew each other and it was always like family for most part. Im glad I was part of this iconic time in music. Chicago scene was great. Contagion, Master, Sindrome, Cyanide, Broken Hope ,Devastation...long list was great time

Also read of piggy using toasters for preamps lol had a special cord but set it on brown sounds great, lol thats just too fucked to make up, read it in a guitar mag sometime in the early 90s i think.bizarre though.
