the only thing bad about this plane is the landing gear. i swapped it out to Dubro gear and 3.5" low bounce wheels.

You don’t like that shopping cart sound when your touching down :). I wouldn’t go as far as to call it BAD...but an upgrade definitely won’t hurt.

Thanks for the vid. Question though: the motor on it is strange right? Inverted or reverse mounted?

It seems unique to the model the way it’s integrated. But then again it’s always a bit of an art matching up the cowl and motor and spinner/prop. Thanks for tuning in!

I kind of want to modify it so a motor is reverse mounted on the outside for better cooling and accessibility. Would make it more bose heavy though

Great job! Can it fit a 3s 4500 mah..i have a couple of new ones i use in my boats...thanks

Those are probably to heavy…I wouldn’t jump up to that. I doubt it. You could try a 3000 but even that might be nose heavy.

If it fits i can make it work by adding a couple of grams to to the tail...but i am sure there is a bigger battery that is just right..thanks

just picked this exact model up ...I am a beginner currently learning to fly on an Arrows Bigfoot...can you give me any helpful tips before my first flight with it...also how does it handle in a wind of appox 10mph....thanks
@rcflightz2058

10mph can be sporty...biggest tip is expo...start at 50%...you may find it feels “mushy”, but that’s okay...take-off...get it up 100-150 feet...fly a couple oval race tracks and land. Play it safe on flight time...don’t push it...ditch the expo over time. Great trainer...take your time...play it safe and your skills will grow fast...and watch out for the sun...got me a few times when I started...almost always wear sunglasses and be aware where direct sunlight is...no control surface changes in direct sunlight...trust me :). Thanks for tuning in!

@@garyvale8347 I’d suggest talking to someone who uses those...I don’t have any experience with that. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

First I would put the battery as far forward as possible. Should be a 3s. I’ll check the settings when I get home…I think I just mechanically trimmed it down a touch but I can check when I get home in 2 days. Thanks for tuning in.

I do not like the clip-on wings. If the tabs break be it from a hard landing, too much wind, Banggood does not sell replacement. And only one tab, it should have at least two on each side.

I’m not sure...I’ve been happy with 3 and it is kind of light...it would be NASTY on 4...but I’m not sure if it’s rated for it. Thanks for tuning in.

i tried mine on 4s at maiden, the motor was pulsing at high speed. i was wonder if the esc or the prop mount was the problem...or maybe it is not cut for 4s.

@@musk-eteer9898 I see this as a 3S aircraft, I really enjoy the way it flies on 3S...I’m not a fan of stuffing oversize batteries and heaps of power...on 3s I’v had plenty of fun tossing it around. Thanks for tuning in!
