That's great, thanks. Now, can you do one in metric so that even I can understand it? 12V DC over a 2 meter distance, with a 25mm2 sheathed conductor, pulling 125 amps max. How many amps would a 25mm2 sheathed cable be good for, at 12V DC over a 2 meter distance, under the hood of my car? Is basically what I want to know. Somewhere I read that the sheathed 25mm2 cable is good for 149 amps, but I have no idea over what length. Thanks.

I did the somewhat of the same calculation, but it was VD= 2x12.9x20Ampx150'/by #12cmil 6530 equals 11.85VD Did I miss something? VD=2.K.I.D/Cmil

Isn't this just for DC though? Cause if you calculate it with Table 9 using the reactances, conduit material and number of cables in parallel, you can get 3V less in the result of this problem.
