Voltage is one of the main parameters of any electrical circuit. The voltage in the section can occur only when an electric current flows through it. In this case, the voltage drops on some element of the circuit. The electromotive force forces the electrons to move in one ordered direction, that is, it forms the flow of an electric current that, passing through the load, loses some of the energy. The more electrons lose energy, the higher the voltage at a given point in the circuit. From the point of view of the definition, we can say that the voltage characterizes the amount of energy expended on the charge transfer; is denoted by the letter U and is measured in volts V.
