How to explain the simple pleasure of 2 channel slope soaring in 5 minutes. No words needed. Perfect.

Quite a nice bit of scenery John! Music fit the flight nicely as well. Something about a relaxing float with an oldie just bobbing around like a cork that's very addictive! I liked the color scheme on the bottom of the wing, extra work but it's eye catching! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. The underside of the wing is covering with the squares already printed on.

This one is almost exactly like a glider I once had, but mine had a motor. I never took it sloping but I flew it many times, repaired it many times untill it finally came to grief and was past repairing.

That's a lovely looking model John. Well done. I notice the fin/rudder looks very different on the Sarik website picture, have you 'improved' the design?
@SlopeRCGliders
Жыл бұрын
It’s not actually a model I built myself. A friend made this glider many years ago and gave it a removable tail (I think that’s why it’s a different shape). He gave it to me but it needed a complete re-cover etc. I lightened the tail as it was a bit ‘over engineered’

I enjoy very much watching your great videos very much and I have a question I'm very curious about. Have you ever lost the lift that made it impossible to return back? Will the plane then be lost, or do you have an emergency landing spot available? Is it possible to walk down the cliff or to the shore?
@SlopeRCGliders
Жыл бұрын
Thank you. I haven’t lost any yet….. The camera angle is always quite deceptive. There is actually about 50 meters of slope below where I’m flying from, so if the lift dies there is always somewhere to land below.

Thank you! I used to fly a lot of electric aircraft but then I moved right next to the coast, so now I just fly gliders.
