@esgomez5031 Thank you for posting this. This song makes me cry but also brings back great memories. I don't speak Spanish very well. But I do understand enough. I'm a Heinz 57. Well, portumex, I guess you could call me. When I was young, I remember going to my auntie Bea's house for family gatherings, holidays, etc. She would sing this song, among others, with her beautiful voice and my grandpa would be playing the guitar along with other friends and relatives. It was so wonderful. Now my grand parents and my aunt are no longer here with us. You don't realize how special something is until it is gone. I miss them so. Muchisimas Gracias:)

She only recorded old songs. I heard this from Pepe Aguilar- a mariachi singer. He said Linda went for the old base of mariachi music and only recorded that. This song is considered "new" so perhaps even when she liked it wasn't fitting in her albums. I would´ve loved to hear her sing more mariachi classics like this one.

I have watched this ending one hundred times and never tire of it. My question is, why was Daniel Valda'z so blatantly ignored on the credits. I sincerely believe that his contribution to this concert of, Linda Ronstadt, put it over the top, and this magnificent ending was his finest hour. Plua, the very ending of this song has been omitted. Why? I really want to know. Can you answer me Mr Gomez? Thank you.

Because they are powerful and raw- especially mariachi songs. Mexican folk songs aka rancheras, are songs full of melancholy, sorrow and honesty. That´s the essence of that style of music. Linda said this was the style she always used to attack vocals on her songs.

Dear Mr. Gomez, please forgive me for my "attitude," I just reread my "comment," and I sound like a real jerk. Sorry, sorry, sorry; I have a dvd of this concert and have been trying to get an answer, from anyone, to my question, "Why wasn't Daniel Valdez given his proper due for the songs he sang with Linda? His harmony compliments her voice so much and I think she should have included him. There I go, getting pushy again. Sorry I irritated you, and I promise I won't do it again.

Se dice que "Los Hombres No Lloran¨. Estas canciones anulan este dicho.. It is sead that ¨ Men don't cry". These songs makes this say invaded.
