I just installed one in a 740. Did you have any popping with yours?

On dry asphalt if i give a lot of throttle with a sharp turn the wheels lock and if i clutch while doing that the tension releases and i guess it is like a pop, But only if i do that. Else it is just like a ratchet when i am turning.

@@Volvo_Mew I meant when you first installed it? They say it will get better as it breaks in. Thanks for the reply brother!

@@shifthappens8475 The change of sound is un-noticable over time. I believe people only say it gets better over time because they get used to it more. But in my opinion the sound isn't bad. (But if you get passengers and drive them around in a city with turns they will notice the sound, And as it is obviously not a normal sound for other cars they may be concerned. This is at least what i have experienced so far) However i have noticed if you have parked for a while and the diff is cold then it will rougher on the sound and feel. but after driving for 1-2 min then it is back to normal. 11:26 this is the sound i get, When you are driving straight or on a country road/highway there is no noticeable sound from the diff. The spacing between the gears is also really important, So that has to be measured to ensure the diff disengages correctly. Sorry for slow response with the comments :D
