Saw kenny and boys play this 22 years ago in little rock at Robinson auditorium. Me ,my brother , my dad and somebody my dad found outside needing a ticket. Front row center. Best show i have ever witnessed still.

In Austin and Houston I used to go see The Arc Angels with Chris n Tommy after Stevie passed. Then Chris and Tommy joined up with Doyle Brahamhall 2nd and Charlie Sexton in Storyville Band, who would alot of times bring Kenny out to play songs with them. It was fantastic!!! This was mid 90s

I remember being blown away by Kenny because he was only about 15 and I think I was about 19 when he started blowing up. It was like wow who is this young kid that can play guitar like that already! Now look at you old man!

@@massimotagliaferri6556 I have never heard Clapton play this. If he did then i'd like to hear it. He played Voodoo Child blues version. Played it with Steve Winwood, Who played it with Jimi. And it is great but no where near as good as Jimi. Even Steve is not as good on the organ with Clapton. As he was with Jimi.

Im still gonna give credit to SRV for the best version aside from jimmie himself, but this is truly a legendary performamce. Kenny gets the highest points for stage, lights and sound setup. not just every guitarist out there can get jimmies tones even close without yrs of practice and dedication to his craft . Great respect and love for Kenny Wayne Shephard and the band .The guitar gods like Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn are still alive in spirit thanks to this wonderful artist. Great job 👏

See him live when you can. He will blow your mind. I just saw him in Ann Arbor MI 3-15-23 at the Michigan theater there. He chooses to play small venues (1600 seats). What an artist!

I've always loved Kenny Wayne and his band, true blues at its best. Since the early 90's I've listened to them and loved all their songs. Love this look he has with the hat and hair pulled back, it fits him.

To me one of the hardest bars ever is “I stand up next a mountain, Chop it down with edge of my hand”. Epic. The transition into “The Power of Soul” was seamless. Very nice.

I Remember his talented early days and always gave him credit for his Spirited renditions of the classics but seeing and hearing this just brings a joy to my heart that he has evolved to this level talent wise. This is that good...😎

I don't know if it's me growing up in the city most of my life but I was not exposed to enough of Kenny wayne Shepard but, he's got a fan in me now. This is the purest and closest version I have heard done since SRV.

i remember going to see KWS when he first started touring. he wasn't even legally old enough to be in the nightclub he was playing!! The Bottle Rockets opened up for him!! great show!!!!

Nah kiddo it was one of Hendrix best. Jimmy Hendrix was the first. Kenny's job is awesome. But even if Stevie Ray did a cover it was a Jimmy Hendrix original.
