vk150 made from 2014 (and Vk140 born in 2009) are the best vacuum cleaners produced by Vorwerk. Here in Italy 1 out of 3 families owns a Folletto (Kobold in German) There are 2 versions of 150: - the Vk150 (standard) 900watt like the Vk140 - and the "slowed down" Vk 150 ECO which only reaches 800 Watt. VK200 mounts the same brushless motor of 140/150, just slowed down to 700W, to reduce electricity consumption, but unfortunately also suction. Italian homes mainly have hard floors such as marble, parquet or ceramic tiles, so instead of the electric brush (EB360) we prefer to use the HD50 or HD40 jointed brush, which is very convenient because it is open on the front to let dirt in and allows the VK140/150 to stand upright.

FYI for everyone: You can get clean air Vorwerk models like the VK140 in 100V specification from Japan but I can't guarantee that it will work on 115-125V.

I have one of these machine and live in the US as well, I also found out about them from dear Hayley, haha! Anyways, I am beginning to have an issue with my electric brush where the auto function does not always work properly. In other words, the suction is not properly adjusting when I use the first setting on the power switch. I have found that by removing the brushes and inserting the carpet dry cleaning cassettes and then popping the normal brushes back in, I can get it to work properly again for a while, it is just starting to annoy me really. Any thoughts on the problem?
