The instructor accomplishes exactly what he says he set out to do: to both inform and inspire the student. He is obviously skilled at the professional level, and so provides a beginner like me with inspiration on two levels: I am inspired to make more and better use of a product I just purchased, and I am inspired to increase my general level of competence in order to get the most and give the most in my hobby of digitizing and restoring classical LP's.

Just a small correction: RT AVG means "real time average." Use the "?" Help and hover over the button to see the explanation. This is the same in, for example, Voxengo SPAN (which everyone should have in their plugins).

Nice explanation. I really don't use this much but still LOVE when i learn new things which might come in handy. The match system was especially cool. Thanks.

Das war spannend und sehr in die Tiefe gehend. Irgendwie habe ich den CurveEQ wohl sehr lange massiv unterschätzt und werde ihn wohl wieder installieren. Big Ups!

Taking frequencies list from Voxengo MarvelEQ would be intersting, because of the spectral vizualisation !

Good, I had this plugin sometime and only used it to compare reference track. Now I know more.

I absolutely do not understand Curve EQ - but I've been using it anyway and getting incredible results. If I draw a line from top to bottom in a diagonal line on sounds, say a kick drum. I can bring out the thump and warmth perfectly and reduce the beater sound. A bit smiley face curve works on just about anything!

Yes removing 200 and 500 hz can add clarity to sounds :) nice that you made sense out of curve eq :)

I like the track 'Troublemakers' - is it one of your own?

Hi! Would you consider changing locale / language to English instead of German? As a subscriber (ofc ;), it would help a lot following along in your instructions

The documentation of this plugin is pathetic. For learning how to EQ match dialogs (boom vs Lavaliers), instrument tracks or final mixes it's totally useless. This is the main problem of the software industry. They just put themselves in the place of the common user.
