The "invert" fonction can be used to eq sources that compete on the same frequency range for instance. Applying inversed eq curves on the two instruments will result in a better differentiation, thus perception of theim. It is one of the tricks you can use among others like spatialization , or if forced, arrangement changes. Thx for the review !

usage for INVERT: when you're hunting down problem frequencies, you crank up the db of one param and sweep till you identify it, then just whack the invert button to notch it out.

Nope, I did also see that new EQ in cubase 7. (But haven't got my hands on it yet...) I do think that Gliss EQ offers some more functions than the new Cubase EQ right? (Like showing the frequency content of another channel in an instance of gliss..) I might try to get a hold of cubase 7 soon.. Quite curious :)

What an EQ!. Hopefully your example can help me fix clashing EQs. I will purchase this shortly. I am hoping it works with Abelton Suite

Nice overview, but you totally skipped over the main thing this does that other EQs don't. Allowing you to use EQ curves from really great recordings and apply them as a reference to your own mixes.

Really helpful tutorial! So, how do you like the Gliss EQ personally? I really like the feature that allows you to compere and visualize the frequency signal from other tracks, I think it's really helpful if you want to clean the muddiness and leave frequency space. How is it compered with some of the Waves EQs, like SSSL or REQ? Thank you! And by the way, what's your favourite EQ so far? :)

Another Excellent video! I've been hesitant to buy this EQ from Voxengo but after your video, I'm sold. Voxengo Gliss EQ $99.95. …Have you ran across other equivalent EQs that have many of the same features?
