For those of you who may be wondering why the Enterprise is damaged in the "Starbase 74/Bynars" scenes, those scenes are a direct continuation to the "Neutral Zone Encounter." Here, the Enterprise encounters the Romulans first and is damaged before encountering the Bynars. I didn't depict the battle because with everything I've been through the past several months delaying my projects, I wasn't up to delaying this video any longer. I decided to leave it to the viewers imagination, which I think is better for it. With that out of the way, it turns out my family and I didn't move, but things were pretty screwed up for a while. I continued to work on this particular video during all that (just in a reduced amount, I love doing this, it helps me get away from things for a while.) Now that things have calmed down and with this finished, I have a bit more time to work on other projects. I have been working on this video for what feels like an eternity (9 months straight), it underwent many revisions while I tried to figure out what I was going for. I'm so happy it's finally done. This video is the first in my new "Voyages" series which will be loosely based on scenes from seasons from the original prime tv shows (right now just TNG). The basis for this series is my attempt to re-capture the look and feel of the original shows using just ships and music, while adding my own personal touches as well. As far as the other projects, I'm considering cancelling the "Prelude to Wolf 359" as a separate video an adding it to the beginning in (condensed form) to the "Battle of Wolf 359" video instead. The reason is with all the delays this year with my personal life, doing the prelude will take just too much time. Personally, I want this project over with ASAP but it's still months out at this point. We'll see what happens... I will shift focus to and from the battle as fatigue sets in and work on other concepts that I have been holding off on. Thank you for your patience and support.

I love that you fixed one of the biggest issues with the Bynar episode, I've always been annoyed that the starbase which looks EXACTLY like Earth Space Dock was supposedly upscaled to fit a Galaxy Class Starship, but instead you went with Andrew Probert's idea instead and had it dock to the exterior of the facility instead.

I've always like the Starbase 74 being larger and Enterprise D going in side. I know Probert didn't want that but it's way grander than even this. Docking outside is nothing like passing through the doors and the spotlight dancing over the hull. (GIVE ME CHILLS) But that's doesn't mean the Starbase had to look exactly the same. This was a very good job at extrapolating an external dock for the Galaxy and he capture the scene correctly for Enterprises back out-turn and warp maneuver .... If you didn't have that you loose the grandeur and presence of the entire scene.

I've poured over every detail of the Galaxy class. The only thing I wish there was more of...is the hull plate aztecing feature. When we see the Saucer close up during docking it would had scale to the scene which is the reason why aztecing was added to the Motion Picture Enterprise...to keep it from looking like a featureless smooth hull. Other than that...everything here is astonishingly perfect...and I mean that. When you see Enterprise roll under the camera before going to warp speed...The taper of the neck...the shape and size of the impulse engines are all variable depending on who makes the 3D model. Even the lips of the hull around the main deflector are PERRRRFECT...it's like someone laser scanned the studio model.
