I can only imagine the financial cost of keeping such a muesum around. Seeing the upkeep needed for Battleship New Jersey, for example. It would be a challenge, but even as an American, I can say out of honor for the Fallen on both sides of the Pacific War I'd donate a few dollars to such an endeavor. If only....Warm regards!

Thanks for your comment. Even if it costs, it's worth preserving America's most decorated battleship, USS New Jersey ! I will continue to provide connections to the past and experiences through VR.

The upkeep cost would definitely be considerable, but she'd more than likely be a part of the Kure Maritime Museum, which is - from what I understand - very well-funded and could probably afford it.

No, there wouldn't be anything left of you. The blast pressure would've smashed you into jelly. Nothing could be on deck when those guns fired.

This 3D Virtual Image of the Mighty former Imperial Japanese Navy Super Battleship IF NOT had been sent to the Operations Ten Go, It will be one of Japan Greatest Tourist Attractions, just like the United States Battleship USS Missouri at Pearl Harbour as Memorial ,just like the Yamato Suer Battleship as shown.

If she'd had a higher top speed, she more than likely would've been. The main reasons she wasn't used were: 1) She was fleet flagship. 2) Her top speed was too low. Had she gone on a night bombardment mission, she would not have been able to get out of range of Henderson Field before dawn. 3) She was the biggest fuel hog in the IJN.
It was. Read "Build the Musashi" by Yoshimura Akira, which goes into detail of how much security surrounded the construction of such a ship. When the third ship (Shinano) was being built, the workers actually lived inside the shipyard so as to ensure they couldn't talk about what they were working on.
