Unbelievable riding by him - he looked like he would drop, instead he smashed it, and then again, ... amazing stuff indeed!

Great coverage sir. I agree Castrillo has been a superstar this year. I was super impressed with Vlasovs efforts aswell,his face showed it all. This is cycling at its best ! It was a privilege to watch all those riders today. They are all amazing in my eyes

I agree with you ey, Grand Tours are just brutal, and that finish climb added a layer on top

Best gt this year by far. I'm having doubts about pogi and using illegal stimulants to boost his already amazing talent. Pulling out of the Olympics cause of the strict testing and then pulling out of the vuelta revealed alot. I hope I'm wrong but I smella rat. Putting that much time into jonas, remco and rog threw up flags for me.

@@matthillard9363 these guys are the most tested athletes in the world, so I'd be surprised if they are fooling around, then again you never know (it's probably like those developing antivirus stuff always running slightly behind on the hackers) - I may be naive, yet I believe the sport to be relatively clean now

Look forward to your work every stage. Looking forward to tonight. It's really getting to the point of which day roglic will take the red. He could easily put a minute into oconner in the itt

Castrillo and Vlasov suck the wheel of Sivakov and Vine all stage long
@CyclingGuy
18 күн бұрын
Yep, completely logical in this case, there clearly was an agreement at UAE that Vine would go for KOM points to then deliver Sivakov to the final climb - Vlasov did not have to pull, because Roglic was behind and Castrillo is not on a World Tour team, so in principle happy to hang on, I’m quite sure Castrillo is not going to get away with it for a 3rd time though 😊

Why no Carapaz or Skjelmose or Yates anywhere in the picture. No Landa?
@CyclingGuy

Because in a GC scenario, either Roglic or Mas will take it IMO, meaning the chances for anyone else on GC are very limited

Skjelmose looked very good in cuitu negro if roglic and mas start fighting each other he has a chance hes been getting better during la vuelta and he is one of the fews that didnt do another grand tour in this season and that matters for 3rd week@@CyclingGuy

@@marceloribeiro3024 I agree with your reasoning, yet it doesn’t change my take - Roglic and Mas can’t afford to poker too much, they still have time to make up to O’Connor (who’s been bending, yet not breaking) - as usual, I’d be happy for Skjelmose to prove me wrong 😊

Carapaz having a great Vuelta so far. He has no teammates on the climbs and is alone for miles and miles while Bora has 4-6 teammates supporting Roglic. Terrible that despite the strongest team in the peloton, Roglic had to change bikes “strategically” and then use a team car to draft back to the group.
@CyclingGuy

that was a weird action indeed, for which they got penalized correctly if you ask me - and yep, Carapaz is riding well, somehow I prefer him as a stage hunter though

I have 0 respect for carapaz. He's a wheel follower until he thinks he can use up the rider in front of him. It was apparent in jonas's first tdf when he was feigning his suffering and couldn't do any pulls following pog and jonas who shared the work and then tried to power away. Jonas kept his cool and reeled him in and dropped him so he ended up third where he belonged. Watching hindley drop him on stage 20 of the giro when he won, it was a great moment in cycling, and the rat cracked and hindley took the pink never looking back. Can't respect riders like carapaz ever.
