It's also as munch effective as a reclaimer and needs less crew (3 for this method compared to 4-5 in order to not have the cargo guy going full sweat from the elevator to the cargo bay in the reclaimer) it also costs munch less in game, about 7 millions for 2 Vultures and a caterpillar compared to 15 millions for the reclaimer so twice the price, just need some cohesion but it's very cool

A friend and I salvaging last weekend managed to park my vulture in the front opening of his C2 so he'd just grab each box immediately. It was great until the A2 I was salvaging ran out of hull material I could see and had to start moving around. It's such a calm, simple and relaxing loop. Super excited for the additions in 3.22, hull munching will be great even if a bit simplified, and a storage buffer is such a good QoL thing so you don't need to hit the latter every other box when solo. Great video though, it's nice to see someone using the ship tractor beams, I've only used the vulture one so far to stop ships that I've bumped.
