I have this to do on a 98 Passat 1.8 20V, including timing belt and water pump. I'm so glad my many years of on-the-street mechanics are over and I have a garage to work in. The times I've had to put all the tools away so I can go and get yet-another part or tools. If you didn't they'd be gone by the time you got back. I'm not even sure it's worth me doing the work, but I've had the car for 17 years, lately as a back-up, and it's too good to scrap it.

Hi Terence, I recently managed to get the car into the garden to work on it, it's like you said so much better than on the street. Thanks for watching

Just finished mine not bad didn't much like the clips on the rad hoses, they can look like there on but not be seated properly causing the hose to pop off under pressure .

I had just done a canyon rally a few days before and they didn't pop off. Odd

Noroc! Nu înțeleg limba engleză. Ce ai făcut, ai schimbat radiatorul sau lai spălat. La mine curge pe undeva de sus și cred că este spart sau corodat. Să îmi răspunzi te rog. Mulțumesc

02:30:00 I suggest to disconnect the condenser side top holders by platic tabs instead of cutter

I guess you Didn't hear me say, or see that the condenser was already cable tied on, that's why I cut them off. Thanks for watching
