THANK YOU, CHEN DYNASTYYYYY!!! This form put everything I have learned into practice. I inhale on my Phoenix punch, my hands and feet are in sync, and my bottom remains tucked on a regular basis! Free flowing improvised forms with the beach waves is extremely special to me, now that opposition rolls off of my body... and I can stay in one place with my chin at the surface, lol. Bless you, Sifu. Amituofo.

Really excellent. The best Chen Style performance I've seen on the tube. Usually you see people losing their balance, over extending, not correctly transfering force, or just plain weak. This was a very high level both external and internal.

+Craig Hocker (Keyboard Samurai) I don't know who u have been viewing on the tube, but there are quite a few chen style players/vids with similar quality imho.

+Cotton Boxer perhaps, didn't say I had made a comprehensive review, can you suggest one? youtube is too vast, what've I've seen before this didn't impress me.

+Craig Hocker (Keyboard Samurai) Do you have any suggestions as I learn Yang Style but really want to investigate the Chen style more...can you get back to me with links or where I can 'learn' this form?
We feel so lucky to have a real teacher. Otherwise, we would be learning from the video like this one. Great video and beautiful performance! Yet, it is quite different to 陈式太极 we learn with our teacher. Good to see there are variations in practice and different styles of movements. Thank you for the video!

Chen Style basically have 4 form, 2 Old Form and 2 New Form. Each teacher teaching Will have small different, But overall are the same.
When you practice, you will know we should practice in a relaxing mode, therefore your CHI can flow freely, can start and then stop in a second. The master is pretty damn good! By the way I practiced two years with Wang Zhanjun style, I am adapting to Chen Xiaowang style now.
Thank Poh for sharing such a wonderful video. I have been watching and watching and watching and watching....just won't get bored on it. I have finished my chen style old form, now looking into improving it further as i am still rather stiff. Can anyone recommend a good teacher in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur? Thanks a lot!

can someone share with me what is the name of the back ground music? Although I am new in taiji, but the demonstrator shows the 靜定神 as he is doing his meditation during his play. Super!!! I enjoy watching it and love it too. Hopefully, I can learn more things from this video.

His name is Zhang Yonghong. In the video it says that he studied in the Shaolin temple from young age and later studied Yang and Chen Taijiquan with different masters. Doesn't name the lineage however.
