This is a traditional tune found in a collection of four musicians’ books, from the family archive of Di Martinelli - a family of musicians and lawyers from the town of Diest. This melody is undoubtedly one of the most popular of its time. Musicologists believe it might be one of the oldest known tunes written originally for carillon. WÖR presents on this tune a original, majestic arrangement with Bagpipes, Saxophone, Accordion, Guitar, Banjo and Carillon with guest musician Liesbeth Janssens. This track will be on our album About Towers, Worldwide release on 22 Jan 2020!
