The Mother Teresa of waffles. I have watched all your touching episodes but must say this one hit me particularly HARD. I wept like a baby because I miss those days when Angie's were more common. Now, we don't even know the neighbors & everyone focuses on themselves, materialism & status. We definitely need more Angie's in the world. Thank you so much for this episode, It was cathartic🙏❤️

We used to love Waffle House and made it a point to look for them as we travel. Staff is always friendly and big hearted. So sad their corporate “gun free” policy makes Waffle House an easy target for armed robbery. We don’t eat there anymore and I miss it but I lost a sister in-law to a gunman in another “gun free” restaurant. Both my wife and I are extensively trained concealed carry holders and we don’t eat or shop where store policy makes us a target.

If you only knew how well paid Ms.Angie is. We just had her birthday a couple of weeks ago. People waited hours to be in her section and between tips and birthday gifts she made something over 2 grand that day. She could probably live a great life and never work another day in her life and yet she still comes in like clockwork and loves on all of us! ❤️

Don't know how or why this came across my screen but I'm sure glad it did. I live in Middle Georgia and visit local Waffle Houses on a regular basis. I can attest 100% about Ms. Angie's attitude. Some years ago my wife and I were traveling from Georgia to Arizona to visit family when we stopped at the Waffle House and met and watched Ms. Angie. Not knowing anything about her until now, but saw the way she interacted with everyone, both customers and fellow employees. I made the comment to my wife about how she was talking and treating everyone like family. Guess I was right.

Can't Waffle House promote her to some sort of national customer service lead? I know she thinks about the restaurant as her family, but nothing lasts forever. Her health may decline making being a waitress impossible, or the store gets demolished by a tornado.
