After another 4 years (from its last repair) of good service, my WAHL trimmer has decided to start eating batteries at an alarming rate and has become intermittent! With this video, I feel that I have succeeded in this repair and look forward to another (tad optimistic) 12 years of service.

Note:
* In this video, I stated that I've owned this trimmer for 7 years - Wrong, It has been 12 years!
* As this is a DC motor, it's possible to reverse the supply polarity - I did so, and no damage was caused.
* If the trimmer blade gets moist, the DC current drawn can become much higher - even if you just physically blow on the blade assembly.
* By continuously running the motor, I'm also freeing up the whole blade mechanism.
* I've only ever used conventional AA cells in this trimmer, Ni-MH rechargeable cells presented too low of a working DC Voltage.
