This is a Korean who was passing by. The French lady who comes out at around 18:00 speaks really well like a Korean student.
Chapeau bas !

I'm also learning Japanese currently. I plan on visiting World Expo 2025 in Konohana Ward, so knowing Japanese would make my time there easier.. Currently I can hold basic conversations, and I can understand a fair bit (I understand more than I speak though, still need to work on my vocab and conversation skills more).

I sincerely hope that your trip to Japan will be a better one. The best way I personally think for English speakers to easily learn Japanese on KZitem is to watch Kazu Languages videos to maintain high motivation while browsing through detailed and practical explanatory videos of Japanese Ammo with Misa.

@@spartanbeast3575 Once you have mastered basic Japanese phrases, your range of activities will expand dramatically. It will be very useful, especially when you go to the countryside. Autumn in Japan is the time of year when there is an abundance of delicious food, so much so that it is called "Autumn of Taste. If you are interested, you can go to the end of the Expo to enjoy the food even more. And if you want to taste the best of the season, I recommend that you go to the place of production and eat there.

The Dutch guy seemed really genuine-I liked how he had the Hokusai print, and you had the Van Gogh painting 🖼 I also couldn't believe the French girl learned Korean without studying 🤯 I loved her promoting your channel in 4 languages, too 😂 Congrats on the book, and thanks so much once again for braving the... weird people on OmeTV to make videos for us! おめでとう‼

some people have an affinity for picking up languages just by hearing them.. although that's a really slow process and takes many years.. but it's mostly how I first learned Arabic and now am learning Japanese (with minimal studying, other than watching anime since 2019, all I really did was watch grammar and vocab videos by That Japanese Man Yuta for about a month, and I can already hold basic convos and understand conversational Japanese pretty well). and I'm currently starting to read manga in Japanese to increase my comprehension skills (I live in Malaysia and they have a store here that sells manga in Japanese, I ordered a few volumes of Blue Lock manga from them online)

Exactly, it's Hokusai print!! We talked about it behind the scenes, he had a lot of Japanese stuff, which made me so happy! I sincerely appreciate her multilingual promotion, too! haha She is so talented! Thank you so much!! 🙏

@AnnaC130If you set your sights on something then persevere and don't give up, you'll eventually achieve what it is you set out to do. I'm 100% sure you can definitely do it if you set your mind to it, you just need to start by learning from someone who can show you the ropes, and once you figure out the blueprint you'll be able to do it yourself too. Take me for example. I self studied a lot of things throughout my life, not just languages. I self studied geography for the second year of my iGCSEs (British board exams for international students) and got an A, I self studied physics and chemistry in 11th grade ahead of the class and finished the syllabus on my own and got A* (once the teachers caught up to where I was before, it was already revision for me by that point), I self studied 12th grade math in 11th grade and 12th grade as well (I felt that the teacher was too slow so I finished the textbooks on my own, even getting permission from the teacher along with a few friends to study on our own in the library since we were ahead of the class) and then did the board exam 5-6 months early and got an A (British board exams can be taken in January as well, the curriculum has good flexibility), and self studied university math before starting uni (in the summer) and got As in that too, I self-taught myself coding during one of my university winter breaks using a 6-week hands-on programming course (by doing mini coding projects from day 1). Languages were just one more thing on this pile. Recently, a friend of mine who lives in Italy and teaches for a living told me that everything is a language, and he said that true teaching isn't teaching people to copy what you know, true teaching is teaching people how to learn. Here's how I suggest you start. Make time-based goals for yourself. It also helps to make a daily/weekly schedule with timings. Here's a little exercise. Open a freelancing platform such as Upwork (best one imo; note that I'm not asking you to become a freelancer, rather freelance platforms are good places to get to know what skillset you would need to be competent in a certain area) and search for people hiring translators, and see the job descriptions (so many people despite all the AI everywhere are still looking for original content without the use of AI). Then see the job descriptions. Make a list of all the skills you would need in order to accomplish that job/gig. Then close the freelance platform and get to learning them and ticking them off the list one by one. Once you learn all of them, or at least some of them, open it again and check through the jobs and note the difference between the first time you saw that and the second time. Dividing things into smaller goals and taking breaks between them increases productivity as well as how fast you accomplish something, and achieving each small goal boosts your motivation a lot, rather than seeing it all as one big goal and then never reaching the end, then getting burnt out and quitting. So, for example: Goal: Become fluent in Swedish ❎❎❎❎❎❎❎❎❎❎❎ Goal 1: Learn the Swedish alphabet Goal 2: Learn Swedish sentence structure Goal 3: Learn common everyday vocab Goal 4: yada yada etc. ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅ And so on. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.
You're very funny and clever girl! I subscribed your channel. You deserve a hundreds ou millions os followers.
