When he was playing he looked good too me despite his shot still obviously messed. But the speed and quickness and herky jerkiness was there to get to the basketball for sure.

Theodore G. Wallace You'd have to ask him. But there's nothing wrong with his shoulder. Watch him play and move -- he doesn't look like injured -- he looks like he's afraid to shoot. The injury thing is a smokescreen by his agent and the team.

Plenty of players had shoulder injuries and didnt change their form to absolute trash. He lost confidence and tried to change his shooting motion. Its all psychological

Yes, maybe a little bit of both. They are portraying a 'scapular imbalance' as if he has an injury, it's just the shoulder muscles have not been used in that way. It's like working out for the 1st time, you're sore and you may pull a muscle, but you keep working at it, the muscles mature and soreness depletes. I think it's his mental game that's failing him, he's a kid, 19 years old. I notice he takes time to hang his head when he misses, instead of running to the ball to make the next shot in practice. I think he's too hard on himself by living under the pressure of being the 1st pick.

Point 1: If you have a high set point, your lower half drives the ball. Point 2: Fultz was fine when he had the ball starting at his left side to his dominant side in college!

There is no injury. The only injury his got is his mental. If he doesn't get his jump shot is back, he will be out of the league just like Anthony Bennett when his rookie deal is done.

I'm gonna be critical because I'm a Sixers and Fultz fan: you said he didn't post a single meaningful minute in the post season. This is false, he played great in game 1 vs Mia and was a +19 I believe. Gotta do better research

With his new shot, he seems to momentarily blind himself with his right hand directly in front of his face. If they tried to change his shot, they broke a golden rule; "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." His trainer may have actually thought he could improve his shot (fixing something that's not broke) by adjusting his motion and form. A huge mistake for a 1st pick, 1st round draft choice. Fultz needs to go back to his roots and just play and improve naturally. i think Coach Brown had no faith in Fultz in the playoffs. I noticed Fultz had a way of looking idle and confused in play at times,. Of which I think actual experience would resolve, but yet they want to train, train train, instead of play, play, play. Brown, IMOP, has a bad way of poor rotation of his players. Fultz should have had some experience in the playoffs, whether he bombed out or not, but Brown didn't give him a chance, so we'll never know....shame.

I saw him shooting around before Game 5 and his hitch was awful even after sitting out the entire season. Brett Brown admitted that Fultz's injury was caused by his shooting form change. I think this will derail his career and he'll forever be known as the Pillsbury Dough Boy who was taken ahead of Jason Tatum and Donovan Mitchell.

I mean even without the jump shot he is still a 6'5 6'10 wingspan guard with a 40 inch verticle and great court vision.
@sfaust5960
6 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, that's not enough. There are tons of 6'5'' players and a strong vertical is not a differentiator at that size and unlike shooting range, can't be used all the time. At this point, sadly, he's Lonzo Ball without even the ability to take a 3 point shot much less miss and court vision not as good. The only non-shooting wing that can be a star is Ben Simmons who is 6'10'' with once almost unique handles at that size.

Lil Tay but he’s still a guard nonetheless. It’s a filled League primarily filled with shooting guards, and unless you’re Ben Simmons, then you’ll fail in the nba. Scoring in the paint can only take you so far. He’s not so versatile as he used to be either. Pretty sure he don’t got a 40 inch vertical too.

Ellis Guerrero Have you been living under a rock? THIS is the process. Draft a rookie, get him a "minor" injury but sit him an entire year. Give him pro coaching, get him used to traveling, get him to know his teammates - then next year, BAM rookie of the year. Fuck the process, and fuck the 76'ers. they have no integrity and is a disgrace to all sports.
@fauxtography1018
6 жыл бұрын
You clearly have no clue Las G. Fultz played this year, so this was his rookie year by every standard. If he had the injury preseason and didn't play at all this season, then next year would be his rookie year.
@lasg3838
6 жыл бұрын
Fauxtography101 I know he played a couple of minutes. that might be because 76ers realized they drafted a bust with weak mentality - because if he was healthy, why didn't he play after that?. However that doesn't change the fact that they have no integrity. Losing on purpose since 2012 (and only drafting Ben Simmons and Glassman Embiid that's actually good LMAO). Look at franchises like Boston rebuilding while still staying competitive. Furthermore I've never understood why Americans think that legalized gambling will hurt the integrity of their sports, when their set up rewards loosing on purpose.
@fauxtography1018
6 жыл бұрын
He played a lot more than a couple of minutes, but that's beside the point. Just be consistent in your argument. Overstating it and going into fiction doesn't help your case. FWIW, I absolutely agree that deliberately losing lacks integrity, but missing seasons to win ROY the next year was never a part of the process. It's really never been important to building a franchise to have the ROY and you legitimately expect it from your #1 picks anyway. That's why you pick them. Suggesting the 76ers deliberately withhold them to win ROYs is disingenuous and ignorant.
