Johnny test was basically a guilty pleasure show for me. It wasn't extremely bad but not something special either. I did enjoy the original run enough being a reverse Dexter's laboratory where we follow the non smart sibling instead of the smart ones(same hair too) The cast was enjoyable when the story was good and I loved the fact that johnny actually was able to make former enemies into friends like the bee keeper and vegan Darth Vader just by being nice or pointing out something to change thier perspective

The netflix revival is probably the most faithful revival i have EVER seen. I mean if it wasnt for a new art style you would never have known it was revival. It feels exactly the same but just more polished and has better writing. The tone and feeling of johnny test is still very in tact and it has the best animation in the series. Its beautiful. I hope netflix didnt cancel the show, it has been a long time since it aired and still no news.

Since you’re also showing cartoons that are still going to this day, revival or not, I would LOVE to see you do a “WAIT... Remember Ninjago?” episode. That show started in 2011 and recently finished its FIFTEENTH season! And it’s still continuing on into 2023, which is *wild* for a serialized animated show to achieve. But what’s even more insane is despite Ninjago’s impressive longevity, hardly ANYONE talks about it, hell, most people probably thought it ended after the season 2 finale... y’know, the finale that happened about a decade ago? Ninjago currently has 2 series (both canon and in the same continuity), at least four games, several comics series and novels (a good portion being canon), plays, two Twitter novels, a motley of canon and non-canon shorts on KZitem, and do I even need to mention the toy line? It has such an impressive breadth of content, and yet, most people ignore it. So yeah, I think it’d be really cool for a relatively popular channel to actually give the show some coverage because it’s very underrated.

Johnny Test was legit a recurring watch during my early teen years. Always had a lot of fun watching it in CN back then, to the point of almost always catching new episodes on premiere, due to how wacky it was. Kinda upset when I found out about its infamy within the general cartoon community (didn't even mind the animation change imo) but it's good that it's getting some more positive vibes recently thanks to other people who grew up with the show.

Around the time Pokémon Diamond and Pearl were popular, my brother would walk off with my Action Replay for infinite Rare Candies and Master Balls so he could battle his friends. He eventually got me into it. On the way to school, one of his friends talked about Gyarados. Johnny Test helped him explain why I should bother with Magikarp, even though it had no attacks. It's strange that this show led me indirectly to competitive Pokémon, but having a one-to-one example helped me understand base stats and evolutions.

And seeing how the creator also made BIG TIME RUSH, literally my #1 favorite TV show, it's easy for me to see how. The creator of Big Time always did have an abundance of sound effects in his shows, I always adored (some of) them growing up, but honestly, I remember them more fondly in Big Time than Ned's Survival Guide or Johnny Test. Honestly I think it worked super well because it was cartoon junkfood. The episodes didnt really have anything special, it was just lights and sounds but coherent enough to entertain kids. I know I'd watch it when i got home from school and enjoy it every time cause it was like... 3 episodes before it'd move on to another show. I really appreciate the new series using the original art style tho I personally find the colored outlines a lil confusing but thats probably just nostalgia goggles.

Johnny Test is special to me because it kinda changed the way kid me viewed animation. I would only watch ''Girl cartoons'' and refused to watch any other kind of cartoon. One day my cousins came over and they watched Johnny Test. I sat down and watched with them and i loved it. After that day i started watching everyting. I loved the anime-ish art style of some cartoons (Bakugan, Monsuno, Beyblade, Generator Rex, Ben 10, Avatar etc.) so much i started drawing every day. Now i'm a freshman animation school and it's all thanks to Johnny Test lol.

The Pokemon episodes (specifically the 2nd one). The reason why is I love anime and Johnny Test nailed it down. Johnny Applesauce because I love the comedy in the episode and the song Dukey sings. Finally, the first two episodes with Brain Freezer because in the first episode, Bling Bling Boy got a win and whenever I watch that episode and how he got treated later on, it feels nice. I wasnt too fond of the fart jokes, the constant whip crack, or the switch to Flash animation (even if that part was probably done to save money). But, I was fond of the characters, their roles and personalities, and their interpersonal dynamics. And despite not being much of a STEM girl (unless a technology obsession counts), Susan and Mary's experiments were often my favorite part of an episode. I had no idea there was a Netfliz revival! this show was a guilty pleasure of mine when i was younger, now that im older i think the hate is very over blown particularly towards the animation, like its not great but season 1 at the least was hand drawn and not enough people talk about that its really nice looking

My Cousin is friends with Ashleigh Ball, one of the voices for Mary. I've only met her once when she dropped off her car at my Dad's place when she was going to a My Little Pony convention here in Vancouver. She voices Rainbowdash and Applejack in that.

I didn't think this was old enough to be in your "Wait... Remember" series. I think there's still some shows from the 90's or early 2000's you could cover, like Beast Wars with their wonky early CG, or Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, or Teen Titans

You’re amazing for dropping a video every day till Christmas. I in fact, did hate this show 😂😂😂😂 I’ll definitely take your advice and check the Netflix series out. Hopefully it’s a better experience

I feel like a rarity in that I genuinely enjoy the show while also agreeing every single criticism is true, and I mean ALL of them. Honestly what think the show did best but never embraced was escalating scenarios to absolute chaos, without it feeling out of place, make me question or feel cheated how we got there. It’s a show where one minute it’s about trying to make the word’s best sandwich and it’ll somehow turn into stopping meat monsters from taking over the world. I haven’t watched the Netflix show, mostly not having the money to subscribe to a streaming service, so If it does embrace the chaos more I’d like hear it.

Johnny Test was fire. I clearly remember watching it on Cartoon Network back in the day. Fun fact, this show was created by Scott Fellows. If you dont know who Scott Fellows is, He created both Ned's Declassfied and Big Time Rush for Nickelodeon.
