A very concise video that goes through each point, even giving a example to better understand the arms placement. Provides a summary at the end as well, important for us to remember to execute

@@doeknob2482 Regarding foot placement though, I'm going to get a short edit together covering this as it's much misunderstood and a bit of a minefield. Here's the general rule to go by though. Don't have your feet any closer together than shoulder width or what is your normal 'on dry land' relaxed standing position. A little wider than shoulder width generally works. As a completely beginner and first time out, the narrowest stance setting is always best as it allows you to get your feet right up underneath in a tucked up position making the deep water start way easier. It also means your weight is not going to favour one foot too excessively, which would always be your back foot and therefore your weight will be kept more central. As for feet angle, take note of how your own feet are angled in a normal, relaxed standing position. You always want your feet bending directly over your toes. Think about a textbook squat in the gym. If your knees bend to the outside or the inside of your toes as you squat this is going to put too much strain on your lateral or medial ligaments respectively. The same considerations apply with any strapped in board sport. There are also other things to consider like how the board reacts on the water, in the air, doing spins, flips or hitting rails dependant on where your feet are placed but the above rough guide should see you right. Take care of your knees. I've learned the hard way!!!
