This was nice to watch. When ppl hear of my routine of waking up at 3:30am, bedtime at 7pm-ish, they tell me that you're a natural morning person! I'm really not, my body gravitates to being a night owl, but I love the silence when it comes to being up that early that I feel more productive. For context, I work in a school district, I have to be on campus before 7:30am, meaning i have to leave at the latest, 6:50am. I would wake up groggy before work, feeling rushed and disorganized, maybe not even have a chance to eat anything or pack a lunch. After work, I'm exhausted and only have enough energy to shower, eat dinner, then sleep. I had no time to just unwind. By waking up early, I can relax and prep at my leisure, read, web surf, get a head start on work without feeling rushed. Now my struggle is fitting in a workout routine o.o'' I hope you are able to keep up the routine :)

I never thought of that solution to wake up at 3/4 am but it sounds so interesting because I also enjoy the time in the early morning the most. Just when everything is still asleep I get to enjoy the quietness and be just in peace with myself. wishing you the best 💕

Me too I wake up at 3:30 because I am a scan coordinator I do price changes in the morning so that when costumers come in at 6:00 am the prices that need to be changed are ready. Why because special change everyday in some items. I like driving at the time but it does take a toll on your body after a while .

I used to work as a baker. And I'd wake up at 2am I enjoyed being awake and working where there's no one around and it's quite for the first 4 hours. It was nice to be in my own head, in a meditative way. Now my morning routine is very lack luster lol.

I’m always impressed with the clean lines you draw when freehanding. I usually see artists do messy sketches first, but your lines come out so straight! Is it a steady hand or lots of practice? Anyway, thanks for the vlog:)

Ugh... this is one thing that I'm not looking forward to. I start school in about three weeks and I know that my sleep schedule is fuuuuucked. Also, I can relate heavily to that floaty, anxiety-filled feeling hard. After being sick for almost a month of my break (thankfully not due to COVID), having really bad art block from not drawing for so long, and trying to actually get my life ready before graduation (even though it's not for another year), it's really nerve -wrecking. I'm not sure if you've heard of Anki, but that's helped me remember a lot of my vocabulary. There's a lot of pre-made decks for all different languages so that away you won't have to stress making them yourself. I've been using it to study Japanese as well as Korean. Also, for the endless scrolling, I literally had to put the parent controls on my phone because I would literally sit on my phone, going through social media for hours on end (like, 4-5+ hours). So now, I only get an hour of social media per day (including posting and responding to comments). It honestly helps a lot. But I know that we both got this! Good luck in setting your schedule back! Also, remember to take breaks. I found out the hard way that forcing yourself to do too much at once will lead to burnout (thanks granny). Also, I LOVE the way that you edit your videos. This video was really inspiring, I may have to try and do this myself! 😅

I find the same thing. I function much better if I have a routine and a structure. It can be fairly flexible--I read somewhere that you should schedule you energy not your time--find the routine that works best for your body and mind--I tend to have more energy earlier in the day. By evening I feel drained. Anyway, it seems like you have found something that you will be able to sustain.👍👏 And good luck with your Korean. I am also studying Korean--I am enjoying it. But, it is a challenge😄

I finished school last year and because of my heart condition I had to take a break after that. I have no motivation to create art or even clean my room🙁 It's like you said,we just fly around in space, without a structured routine..that makes me so sick, because I want to use my brain and my time, but I have no motivation and I feel so burned out and overwhelmed by the smallest of tasks😔

Big shifts are really hard especially when they involve your health as a limiting factor. I hope you're able to reach out for help with a professional or close person because there are things available to get your brain and self back. Speaking out about your frustrations is a huge and scary step. Things can and will get better as your body adjust to a new routine. Hugs and hope for you.

I am so bad about routines because of my anxiety depression and Analysis paralysis. It can be really hard to get started on anything or stick with it. Having my baby has helped alittle but the mundane things like change out of jammies, brush my hair. Dont lay down all the time and watch t.v or play on my phone instead of doing chores. It can be hard and sometimes I dont even realise I was being that way till my husband or loved one says something. So I totally understand where your coming from hun.

Waking up early is great. It does something for the body and stimulates your brain to be positive. Also that vitamin D in the morning is so important! That's why I could never live in a foggy or rainy city without sun. Also physical excersise will help you get pass those depressive thoughts. I've been doing it work a few weeks and feel so much more refreshed .

It's funny I woke up early all summer even after my second brain surgery in June. But now that's its school time and I need to get 5 of my kids up and school stuff started (online/home school) I been struggling 😫. I relapsed with a cold too lol. But my little girl she's 6 is in first grade she has cancer and is always the first one in my art studio at one of my drawing desks I have 7 that I work off of and she is always there running in pj's still, hair crazy lol but unicorn backpack ready ❤️. (I always make her go back to her room and change and brush her hair, before her class starts. K-12 stride is the only school that would accept her, all the other ones called her an issue or liability because of her illness and medic team schedule.) She loves school so much.

I'm impressed by everyone who wants to develope an early morning routine. My own Body doesn't want this, I tried so long and everytime again I'm up late in the morning and all the hard work to get the routine is destroyed :D But it's fine for me as my job is possible with this shifted awake hours. And I agree so much, don't be so hard on you to thing you need to do even bigger and crazier things. Thats so typical to think but that blocks your head and mostly no one really awaits crazy shit. Stay consistent to your things and everything else is a suprise and special :)

I’m the most productive in the morning as well and have been making it a habit (weather permitting) to go for a walk in the mornings. It’s so peaceful and beautiful in the park because the sun rays make an amazing color. It’s also much easier in the summer when it’s super hot during the day. I’m gunna try to keep the habit up during the winter, but I live in the northeast and it can be very hard to do that when it’s below freezing and dark outside. Idk what it is with the brain and the time of things, but the earlier I get up the more positive and productive I am. I usually start to procrastinate and slack off around lunchtime though lol!
