Thanks for this awesome footage galore. Lugano was in my heart first, but this place hit me more to visit.

Great travel/hiking videos. Love your positive energy...your videos are so fun to watch. Question. If I wanted to do one hike on our trip to Munich, would you recommend Tegernsee or Walchensee? I like hikes to mountain huts and great views. Both of your videos on Tegernsee and Walchensee look amazing. Do you have a favorite?

Thanks so much! This is a perfectly timed question, as we were just arguing about which lake we prefer. Camille likes Walchensee, while Ben prefers Tegernsee. The latter might be better for you, as the hut near Tegernsee is really excellent. There is also plenty to do in the town afterwards. There isn't a lot to Walchensee besides the excellent double lake view. Good luck!
Try the south shore for some nice pebble beaches and the absolutely most fantastic views.

Dumb question: On a bus like the one from Kochel to Walchensee, do you need to press a button to signal that you're getting off at the next stop? If so, is there a display showing what stop is next inside the bus? Or do you have to listen for an announcement for the next stop? Trying to get an idea of what to prepare for, hah.

No worries. Yeah the bus has a screen that shows the upcoming stops and what comes next, though to be honest I always keep my google maps up while on the bus just in case, lol. You’ll also need to hit a button to signal to the driver that you’ll need to stop. That being said, if you are ever nervous about it, what I usually do is ask the driver to verify that they stop at a certain stop, and then stick around in one of seats near the driver. That way if are a a nicer driver, which they almost always are, then they can help you out if you have any more questions.
