In the Walgarra (Herring) part of Mardayin, the two skin groups, Mandhirrija and Mandayung, march to the madhalag (beach) from the ceremony area. As they march, they stop and call the Lharra (Ceremony songs). These songs sign about country, clans and follow the Mardag stories that underpin Mardayin. The two Mardag songlines for the Mandhirrija skin groups are from the Nunggarrgalu and Rami clans.
