Januárban voltunk. Nagyon élveztük a város hangulatát télen is. A török fürdőt ezúttal kihagytuk. Csodálatosak a templomok, igaz a legtöbb helyen restaurálnak éppen. A Páduai Szent Antal templom így is éke a Dobó térnek. A várban a kínzóeszközös tortúra bemutató kicsit horror. (Jó volt álmelegedni utána a kávézóban.) Csak az nézze meg aki bírja az ilyesmit. 🥶A Petőfi év alkalmából rendezett kiállítás szuper volt.

@@perseus274 "His father István Petrovics (Kartal, August 15, 1791 - Pest, March 21, 1849)[4] was a master butcher, he came from a Slovak family in the highlands[5] (in contrast to the popular Serbian origin), but he declared himself Hungarian. His father's Slovakian origin is likely due to his evangelical religion (Serbs are usually Orthodox), as well as the research of József Kiss and Lajos Jakus, who traced Petőfi's origin on the paternal side to 1685, to Vagyóc in the Nyitra County. In other words, the Petrovics come from Felvidék, just like the mother's branch, which originates from the village of Necpál in Turóc county.[6] His paternal grandfather was Tamás Petrovics, who moved to Asód in 1770 at the age of 26." But it doesn't bother me if the Serbs also feel that they belong to them. Just like János Hunyadi.

@@laszlo_orban Surname Petrović is mostly found in Serbia. So his father must have migrated there from Serbia, because of Ottomans I guess. I'm not Serb btw.

@@perseus274 His mother was Hungarian (of Slovak origin). Sándor Petőfi writes his poems in Hungarian. His father's Serbian origin does not mean that Petőfi is Serbian. He is a Hungarian poet. OK, you're not Serbian, you're just misinformed. A significant number of today's Hungarians also have Polish, German, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Ruthenian, Turkish, Gypsy, and Gypsy ancestry, but they are still Hungarian. There is nothing special about this.
