Walking along the boardwalk to Ranworth Broad
Welcome back to my channel.
On What is probably the hottest day of the year so far, I decide to walk along the boardwalk down to Ranworth Broad. We still have the heatwave here, so it is still incredibly hot despite shaded areas in amongst the alder Carr. The Bird song is amazing as always and it fills each clip I film with lovely sounds.
I pass a bee collecting nectar from a flower , spot wild orchids, which actually might be spotted orchids and probably the highlight of this walk was seeing the grebe with her chick on her back. The black headed gulls also have they young beside them and it seems rather late, but they are still busy making nests and gathering twigs and reads to build a nests with.
The water taxi arrived. It has a sweet name of little tern. It is also the boat which does a tour of Ranworth Broad. If you’re lucky you may be able to see the osprey.. Presently there are a pair of them, but unfortunately I wasn’t lucky enough to see them today.
However, I was fortunate to see Wherry Albion making its way into Malthouse broad.
I hope you enjoy this video. Thank you for watching.
