Pretty short. I saw the movie the day after opening night in Japan (December 15th) Originally I was going to say more but then something came up and I had to cut it short.
So Hobbit and Star Trek trailer something to look forward to on Friday, thanks.

I read the book before going to see the movie. They changed a few things from the book. It was accurate to a degree, but there were things changed. A few interactions with Gandolf were changed when Gandolf met Bilbo in front of his home the first time. A few scenes were different when the dwarves arrived. There was no "white orc" in the book like there was in the movie; and when the group found themselves up in the trees it wasn't because of that orc, it was because of goblins from the cave...

...they were previously in. The goblins chased them up the trees and the goblins set fire to the trees. That is what allowed Gandolf to start the acorns on fire and use them against the goblins. Not to mention in the movie Thorin wants to get his treasure/castle back for pride and other more positive reasons. In the book they want the gold and they plan to split it. Thorin could care less about the castle.

THEY DID NOT CHANGE ANYTHING FROM THE BOOK!!! It was very book accurate, but they started it different so that those who didnt read the book could see where we were in the story. Same in Rivindale, when in the book gandalf dissapears, it was explain in the movie as him talking about the lord of the rings, once again its for the people who havent read the books.

The ST:ID trailer they showed before the Hobbit here sucked compared to the internet trailers that were out a few weeks ago, IMO.
