This time, I walked in the rain through the old post town "Ouchi-juku" in Minamiaizu, Fukushima Prefecture. This prospered as an important post town on the road connecting Aizuwakamatsu City and Nikko Imaichi during the Edo period, and is now a popular tourist spot with about 800,000 visitors a year. The sight of thatched-roofed private houses lined up along the road is charming.
I wasn't planning to shoot in the rain, so I took pictures even on sunny days. (It was hard because my shoes were soggy💦 Not recommended on rainy days!)
