Welcome to Rio de Janeiro!
The Tijuca forest is the only forest in the world that is in the center of a metropolis, and currently there are places that are used as a recreational area for city residents. One of those places I went to visit. The entrance is in the Alto da Boa Vista neighborhood, in front of Afonso Viseu Square. Within this whole forest area, you can find several waterfalls, trails, lookouts, picnic and leisure areas for the whole family. The park's closing time is 5:00 PM, because in the forest, the lighting ends very quickly. I made a shorter video, however, if you like the place and want more videos, I can go back there and resume filming from where I left off going on.
