Boarding Bear and Lola again and I’m switching it up a bit by rotating the pair of dogs on a walk. First walk was Hilda and Bear and it was actually their first meet up and the reason I paired these two up was because they both are medium energy level dogs with a spike of excitement at times. Even though they both can get joyful they both have the same personality of not bothering others if they don’t have interest on that significant other and that’s actually what they both did with each other.
Second pair was Kronos and Lola. Lola is the type to get annoyed when one is all over her face but when a taller dog with more of a calmer attitude approaches her she will mellow down a bit to ease the situation but if it’s too much pressure she’ll not tolerate it. Kronos fits it perfectly since he’s there and interested but he never over does anything unless one wants to take it to the next level. Being closely relatable to each and one being a male and the other a female it help’s eases the problem as the male will tolerate if he is mature.
Lastly Venus, she did not have a partner but with her luck two came and found her. Venus might be small but her stance and the confidence of hers makes her not a target to anybody but more of a threat. Often I am worried of others approaching her but she has made great progress since the time I fostered her. Some dogs are built to be independent and this little dog is one of them as she does not care if she is alone or not she will do what is needed. I was glad to found the owner of the two dogs and safely returned them.
All the dogs got a good walk in including the neighbor’s dogs, even if it’s just a walk be sure to be active and do something with your dog(s).
