I visited Dog Red and Easy Green sectors of Omaha Beach to see the locations described by US Army soldier, Major Stanley Bach. He landed on the beach the morning of D-Day and wrote down what he saw there on June 6th 1944. I went into the cliffs to understand what the troops who landed there had to fight through to get off the beach.
