Please consider New Hope Pennsylvania, Newtown pa, peddlers village or Kenneth square and media PA. All of these places look and feel similar to this beautiful Canadian suburb.

This is great. I live about 10 min away from the strip here and it's a hub of activity on hot summer nights. Very lively with streets jammed and patios packed with locals and visitors alike. Abit of a dreary day here but still always nice to stroll. Also great to visit during the christmas holidays as they really do it up nice with the lighting and decor. Toogood pond is also frequently used as a skating surface during the dead of winter when everything freezes over. Really a gem of a nieghbourhood. Like a Normal Rockwell painting.

Glad you got see our 'burbs as well as the city of Toronto itself. For anyone visiting - the *Old Country Inn* (which you walked by at minute 11:00) does excellent schnitzel and has a great beer selection. Much of New England would have a similar vibe as Unionville, upstate New York as well.

I've been to Markham before but closer to Steele Ave and Kennedy Road but never to Unionville. What a cute area maybe one day, I'll take the Go Train and check it out. Thank you ActionKid, this fun!😀😀

Right on! Keep in mind that the Go Train doesn't stop at the station there from the videi! You would have to get off at Kennedy station and walk for 5-10 minutes north! There's a bus you can take to go back downtown from the same Go station.

This place will alway's be Hobb's End to me, from John Carpenter's 1995 film 'In the Mouth of Madness'. The main street, the tracks, and several storefronts feature in the film as the fictional town of Hobb's End, NH. The 'Black Church' from the film is about a 14 minute drive from that location.

You can take the GO bus to Kennedy station and back any time of day, then it's a 10-15 walk to main Street. The commuter train follows daytime work hours: Train to Toronto in morning to early afternoon. Train back to Unionville mid afternoon to evening.
