No guitars were harmed in the filming of this video, eventhough three were accidentally knocked over.😁 There's just no room to get around in here, especially if you're looking somewhere other than where you're going. It's also impossible to knock over just one guitar. If one goes, they all go.
So you might be wondering, why so many guitars in such a small space? Until two years ago, we had a property that we called "The Car Farm". On that property was a nearly 6000 square foot building that housed all of my "junk". I had a bunch of old hot rods there and all my guitars. Plenty of room. When I retired two years ago, I sold the car farm and all but one of my cars, and brought all the guitars to the little trailer. Not a good fit. The trailer is near my home, and was my only option.
I have a "shop", but it's not insulated, and it gets too hot for the guitars during the summer months. By the way, the shop is also full of "junk", including approximately 20 sets of drums, 2000 record albums, 3000 hot wheels/matchbox cars, 100 old radios, and 30 totes full of "I don't know what". All of which were bargains that I found over the past 25 years all over the united states as a pipeliner. Every weekend I would hit all the flea markets and yardsales in the area. You can get some crazy deals on junky guitars at pawnshops if you wait till the end of the month and then buy 10 or 15 at a time! I would work on these guitars at night as I don't sleep much. On my last job before retirement near Wheeling West Virginia, I bought 76 guitars and all but one was finished before I left. When the jobs would end, I'd drag it all home. The "problem" is, I never sell anything.
But there are worse "problems", right? 😊
