this is also a phantastic instrument to ad subtil layers with fine texture under a piece. I just re-opened a project of a music-track for a little film project, that i had thought already finished, now i just added some very quiet, constant notes of cassette deck, while turning the variant-settings up and down... and , if you listen to the track, you don't realy realise it is there, but when i turn it of, it suddenly leaves a big gap.... phantastic.

Can I convey my sincerest gratitude to the Spitfire team for taking on board and, implementing what I have been hoping for, and suggesting for some years, to providing an incentive programme that allows people at all (economic) levels to benefit from these highly payment incentivised marketing drives. I think it is these gestures that differentiate Spitfire Audio from almost all other companies in their overall philosophies towards delivering their products in an equitable manner that benefits all in the manner for which they are worth. My highest respects and endorsement for your current, and past, philosophies and approaches into the future. It's a current of fresh air in an incredibly stifled and impersonal (modern) environment.

The cool thing about the particular tape noise in this library is that it almost emulates the timbre of human breath (say blowing a woodwind) or the noise of a bow dragging across strings. It instantly makes the synth feel more analog and “real” 😁

Flat Battery is my favourite. The gritty high end worked nicely with the multiple tape smoothing, and the large room reverb. After the first two chords, I was expecting you to play Prodigy - Out of Space. Similar tones, but a bit richer in timbre and chord. I seem to remember Liam Howlett used the pretty lo-fi 12-bit Roland W-30 sampler and filters lot. Spool stabs is pretty too. I like it better with the mod wheel down, then it has a sound similar to the Noise Engineering models on Arturia's Freaks. The Bass model can make beautiful thin dusty fragile sounds like that.
