Finally I found the texture I’ve been looking for after 1 month

This is the BEST video on this texture. I'm a homeowner and pulled this off after a couple tries. Here are a couple of key points Mike makes that made all the difference for me when I listened more carefully the second time around (try to avoid this): * USE A HEAVY MUD. When I finally got it right, I used all purpose and very little water. * PUT IT ON THICK. Look at Mike's holidays. They are almost 1/8" deep *after* he floats it out. This will let you avoid two things: 1) Filling in too many holidays when you float and 2) Making your holidays too shallow to paint when you sand.

Well done guys. Mike is very well spoken and you can tell he's done this hundreds of times. This seems to be the texture that all the newer home builders are using around my area these days. I'm surprised yours is one of the only videos around showing the application of it. Thx for showing.

The mud we use is remixed in a box. We dump the mud in a 5 gallon bucket, add maybe 4 cups water and mix until the mud can take form or a little less than peanut butter. Not to thick so its hard to work with and not runny .

Please make another video. But this time film in landscape mode vs portrait mode. So hard to watch.
