Campo was an absolute legend. Hard for me say as a kiwi. His goosestep was imitated in school ground across the country in the 80s and 90s. I remember him towards the end of his career. Didnt realise he was such a lethal weapon to in his early days. Aussies had a great squad through the 80s and 90s. We used to love to hate them but so many of the games greats in there. Campo actually reminds me of Cullen with his blistering pace and incredible step.

Campese is arguably the greatest winger of all time. The guy was untouchable.

Being from NZ but spent most of my playing career in Aust, people always talk up other wingers like Lomu, Kirwin etc and fair enough, but in his prime Campo was amazingly lethal. He had all the skills that most wingers don't have. He was a weapon!!

2:00, was at that game at Eden Park, watching from the end the Aussie's scored at, so saw the ref signalling the forward pass and the call back, but the Aus players running towards us never saw it. They looked pissed off when they realized. That '82 Aus team was a seriously good side, and showed they'd be world betters within a couple of years.

Surprised he didn’t play league. Given the era of his career he’d have been a legend with kenny, Lewis etc, and probably would have earned a lot more

People. This music is what it is. The original tapes had even worse. Where i got sources that did not have the music, i left out the canned stuff from iMovie You'll see for instance I used some BBC commentary of tries against Scotland in 1984. This meant finding those tapes and splicing them in. If it bothers you, mute it.

@dennischong100 it's from the hong kong sevens of 1983. In the seven a side game, the numbers don't correspond to positions.

Dear Australian mates. Besides Michael Lynagh, David Campeses and Nick Farr-Jones let just tell you about another Australian legend - Don Athaldo! .No, he was not a Rugby Player, rather he was a strongman in the thirties. a true myth from Sidney. Google him and you'll find out! Cheers!
