O, Canada! I used to listen to CBC radio as a kid as I lived right near the Canadian border. We went to the Toronto Expo twice with my parents and siblings(1975 and 1976) and went up in the CN Tower, and watched the air show. The Harrier came and hovered over us, a crowd of 5,000 people, in town! Since those days, I went back to beautiful Canada a number of times on work, to all the lower provinces. It is absolutely so beautiful there is no place like it. I remember a mountain sheep getting in the road, staring down my vehicle. The guy behind me pulled up beside me, said "Turn off your motor. He thinks it's growling at him, he thinks you're challenging him. If you don't want your radiator wrapped all around your motor, turn your key off, eh." Good advice. 15 minutes later, the big brown sheep stopped licking the December salt off the snow packed road in the mountains at the British Columbia and Alberta province lines, and he sauntered off to the south as he gave us all a look of "Thanks for waiting. I was gonna Hulk smash you but you guys got patient..." I'm told the only places on earth that parallel Canada in beauty are Russia and Alaska. I'm married now, and don't travel much. But one summer I'm going to get in my big Tahoe and bring my Schwinn mountain bike, a mattress, a tent, some hip waders, my fly rods and bass rods and my trout spinning rods, my long handled fishing net and all my homemade flies... And spend 4 months fishing and sleeping under the stars. Over a decade ago I crossed in at Idaho's Kootenai National Forest at East Port, the red haired Canadian Border Patrol and Customs Agent woman I saw inside who processed my paperwork was high on a short list of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in my life. Quite memorable. Canada has no shortage of beautiful women to admire. I wish I had a second lifetime to spend on this Earth... I'd spend it all in Canada.

Bolei Di, I too am in Minnesota. I caught two northerns last year on two local lakes. Cleaned them the way you do if ya want boneless fillets. The first one I had to keep because it was starting to bleed. The second one I could have released, but didn’t. It was a MONSTER, or personal best. Cleaned both starting by removing the back first then doing the sides. Fried the first, pickle the second.

This past year I lost 2 Rotty-s and a Irish Setter. My heart can't take it any more, it just aches and the tears sometimes just don't stop. I am dog less now and sad but I'm done! Excellent video, most people don't get the opportunity to experience the feeling you describe. I can relate to this spending many summers in Moffett, Quebec Canada. The peace, tranquility and sheer pureness of mother nature cannot be described in words. You did a great job capturing this for others to experience. I feel very fortunate I was able to enjoy this for so many years growing up, it definitely has made me part of who I am and respect the resources we have. Again, great video my friend!
