I ended up buying this bike new (the Wallke H6) and it arrived with bent frame, so crooked that the chain touches the tire in 1st gear. It has chipped paint and tire white washing/slight wear, one of the rear shocks is slightly bent, and the saddle seat has 2 really deep indentations, among other cosmetic issues. (The damage doesn't appear to be from shipping , the box is in fair shape.) Customer support minimized the issues and offered me $100 compensation for the bent frame. Wallke policy states that they will charge a 25% restocking fee on returns! Everyone make sure you do your research before buying from Wallke, or any e-bike manufacturer really, including their policies! Wallke said I can return it for a refund and won't be charged a restocking fee and they will pay shipping!.

I was going to ask you guys, basically what you're talking about? Do you like want to get another 10 mph out of this thing Mark I mean what's the point of going over 40 mph? Is it because it's going to be you're primary Transportation mode? LOL. Or is it because you have a lot more Hills near where you live? By the way I live in basically flat Sandbar Treasure Coast Florida. I've never actually seen a hill that's over 10 feet in Rise. LOL. And the ones that do just simply go over a river or something and the incline is barely even 15% at best. They give you plenty of time around here to go up an incline and over a body of water

If more of our job sites were within 10 miles or so all around my County, I would probably have all of my tools that I might need just left at the job and tell my boss to keep me at the job until we're about finished, so I can use my e-bike most all the time except when it's really obviously raining

ANOTHER EXCELLENT VIDEO!!! That's pretty fast I got my G-Force T42 to go up to 33 mph real speed gps surprisingly the G-Force has the same NM of torque as this bike of 80. These expensive big battery bikes are cool But you definitely got to pay the money for it. The money is always in those damn batteries. So expensive no matter what type of electronics you put them in. I do think there is a limit with these bikes bigger batteries bigger motors etc now you're getting into very heavy type of bikes might as well move up to a real electric bike, scooter or motorcycle. I would assume that people buy the electric bikes mostly to get some exercise eventually 🤣 I'm a fan of the lighter bikes with the smaller batteries they're just fine for pretty much anything. You could always buy an extra battery and strap it to the back rack. And if you run out of battery my G-Force T42 was very easy to pedal And I weigh over 300 lb Another interesting thing is I love these new type of screens that are smart screens really cool. Not that you need one. I do think it's bizarre that you can't change the power settings for each power assist level when most cheaper displays allow you to do it like the g-force. I do find it very helpful to change those power levels on each power assist settings you pick to preciously match the manual gear you're in. Who knows Maybe there is a setting and a way to do it You would think such an advanced display would have those settings. Very bizarre.

I wish I could use my h6 dual battery e bike. I bought it off amazon, and a few months there were broken welds on the frame. I contacted support and they sent me another frame to me here in Arizona in a box that by the time I got it a month later was so beaten and broken that AFTER I paid a bike company $200 to replace the entire frame, we found out the one that was sent was bent at the hinge on the body of the frame so it would not close properly and it wasn't possible to lock the frame closed. I desperately tried for months to get wallke to help me, and provided the written statement from the bike company invoice saying the hinge on the frame was bent causing the bike to not be able to be locked in the closed position, and the bike was unsafe to use. Wallke refused to believe me or the bike shop, and refused to do anything other than send a new locking mechanism, which would not fix the fact that the hinge on the frame, not the locking mechanism is bent. I regret spending $2500 on a bike I got to use less than a dozen times. I would seriously avoid this company.

Thanks for this review! An e-bike dealer has said that hub motor e-bikes are "garbage" -- because of their vulnerability to burning out from RPMs dropping too low while climbing hills. Do you have any thoughts on this, in particular to this e-bike? I really like what I'm reading about it, but I don't want to experience a motor burn out.
@rampart1234
2 жыл бұрын
This hub motor is probably the best part on the bike. I have checked the temp after doing serious hills and it was barley warm. This bike does have issues. It is unstable and the suspension is horrible and if you are not 6'2" or taller you should buy something besides this.
@JeremiahMcintosh
2 жыл бұрын
Haha they are definitely not garbage just different from a mid drive. Let me guess he only sells mid-drives. He is correct to some extent…you don’t want to max the motor out with throttle only up hills because he is correct about the rpm’s but I have a lot of hills in my area and never had a problem with a hub motor. That’s why I always recommend you should help pedal up hills to reduce that risk. With all that being said if you have very very steep hills in your area and plan on going up them most of the time you ride then a mid drive would be better but it’s a total different experience. Personally for the most part I like hub motors better because they are peppier with no lag when shifting gears and almost all of them have a throttle. Many mid drives do not have a throttle.
@JohnFRr
2 жыл бұрын
@@JeremiahMcintosh Thanks for the reply. I don't have steep hills (let alone very, very steep hills 🙂) in my area so that shouldn't be an issue. No the real battery percent is 33% I've noticed with these type of e-bikes and batteries in general The real percentage is when you're under a load Not after the battery cools down. If you start it up again and you started driving the way you were. You would see it quickly dropped a 33% where it was in the first place. I've noticed this happens with all e-bikes. People should really go by the percentage of the battery when you just stop the bike after you ride it.
@UnrivaledPiercer
Жыл бұрын
Exactly. If his battery is jumping around that much, it just shows how bad the voltage sag is. Anything that sags that much is definitely worth avoiding. Letting the battery sit and balance is fine, but continuous riding while thinking the battery is much higher than it is will not be good for it. Probably made with really low quality cells based on the drop in voltage.

I would like to have a an alarm that send a Amber Alert style thing to my cell phone within a few seconds after somebody touches or moves to bike? I also would like to know why they didn't really give you the option of a higher seat frame rise in the back and better pegs for the rear Rider to put their feet on? I'm not sure those tiny pegs in the back are going to make it? They should have accessories where you could get something nice and secure that would stick out another two or three inches? Yes, it is a bike made for giants and I did not realize that when I bought it but that is my fault. As for the positives. If you ride in eco mode which is mode 2 which gives 16 to 17 mph you will get a very good range. I rode 32 miles yesterday and still had 76% battery left. If you ride in mode 5 which is 32+ mph it will suck the battery down quick. I think in eco mode you could get 75 miles range. That is what I did on my Lectric 1.0. You will need a 5mm Allen wrench, and adapters for both the front and rear. They are not interchangeable. You can get them on Amazon. Do not overtighen the bolts.

What concerns me about all these ebike reviews is that no one is talking about the horrible customer service that comes along with these companies. I can't speak for walkies customer service because I have not tested them yet but the vast majority of these companies lack any quality control on their batteries and do not have transparency about how well these packs are manufactured. This is very concerning that all these channels that are getting kick backs via links are not addressing these issues. The same people who are paying 2000 dollars for one of these bikes with no way of knowing how the battery is wired or manufactured wouldn't do that with a computer or other electronic device... my advice is wait this time out and see how long it takes to see these companies dissappear after law suits are filed and always check the customer service before you buy.

To date I haven’t had a problem with any batteries on any bikes I’ve tested so I can not address issues that are not there. You better believe if I had a problem with anything it would be stated in my video or addressed in the comments or description.

The way the battery works is it uses the battery with the most voltage and then switches to the other, it switches back and forth keeping the batteries at a close voltage..I like that bike, not sure how good those rear shocks work, maybe I missed that part, or it was never discussed..Over the years I've seen some unhappy customers of the company Wallke, especially with that larger folder..Not sure I trust them, trust is more important than a great bike, any bike can have mechanical/electrical issues, and I want to be certain if there is an issue and I spent $2,500 dollars, that they will quickly/honestly take care of it...That is what I can't stand about reviewers, they say it's not their job to let you know about a company's reputation, and issues with service and warranties, but they make their living off their subscribers buying bikes and watching their videos, it's morally wrong and dishonest...A reviewer should give you that information to the best of their ability..It would most certainly cause ebike companies to raise their standards and practices, everyone wins..When they keep this information a secret, many, many people get taken advantage of, and lose thousands of dollars...Himiway for example has an "F" with the Better Business Bureau, if you buy one of their bikes, chances are you'll be fine, they make good bikes, but, if you have a problem, you might get screwed, tell people the truth, let them make an informed decision..Just sayin, a lot of people get burned buying ebikes and reviewers can help change that, I think it's their responsibility...

If I have a problem with customer service or the bikes themselves I am always honest however there’s no way for a lot of us to comment about customer service because we haven’t had experience with them. Best thing to do would be try to find their Facebook forums and find other users that had problems and see how they were taken care of. if we don’t have problems with the bike how could we deal with customer service?
@realeyesrealizereallies6828
2 жыл бұрын
@@JeremiahMcintosh Seems you answered that question already, when your reviewing a company go on their facebook, and check, and check the Better Business Bureau, etc., That is very simple and takes 15 minutes, I don't own a Himiway bike, but, I'm aware of their issues..But not from a reviewer, because I took the few minutes time it takes to find out..If you don't make money from selling ebikes then it's not your responsibility..You could just say there seems to be alot of unsatisfied customers with their service, if that's what you find, or they have an "F" with the BBB, and advise your subscribers to check facebook or the BBB, etc., If reviewers lived up to that responsibility, it would drive dishonest companies out of business or to improve their practices..I get that reviewers want to introduce a bike, honestly show the performance and issues, specs, and don't want to expose any information about company service, but, it's not hard to find, and you should not want the people that make your channel possible to get ripped off..I like your channel and reviews, this is an issue with every reviewer, and something I mention to every reviewer, that I watch, because I've seen lots of people get ripped off, and it's easy to fix..Ultimately people are responsible for their purchases, but I think reviewers have responsibility also, they choose to avoid it, because it's bad for business, the American way...Doesn't mean I'm not right, because I am...
