Cake recipe with walnut leaves and vanilla cream.
This cake is one of my favorite cakes. It's one of my mother's cakes. I loved walnuts very much and that's why she was always expected.
The cake can also be made in a gluten-free version. Use gluten-free flour.
INGREDIENTS

CAKE SHEETS (3) 35 x 24 cm

- 9 egg whites
- 150g sugar
- 200g ground walnuts
- 25g flour
- a pinch of salt
🔥 185 ° C without ventilation
⏰ 10 minutes
CREAM
------------
- 9 egg yolks
- 150g sugar
- 500ml milk
- 40g cornstarch
- 200g soft butter
- vanilla essence
DECORATION
----------------------
- ground walnuts
