I see so many ways this could be a problem. redefining also exposes you to a slew of new variables. You will see through testing. anyway this is more of an ad for matterhackers thant the planter itself so i'm wasting my breath here. good luck

@zeke7515 even though they show pla, I can tell you with multiple years of 3D printing experience when it comes to Outdoor Products, this is not a good idea. I always recommend abs, Asa, worst case petg. ASA is by far the best for wet applications that may receive direct UV exposure. I have bird feeders, bird houses, and other things outdoors that have lasted multiple winters/summers with no change(NOT THE CASE WITH PLA). If you have a printer that will print ASA temperatures, you can make even a slight enclosure, and be printing like gold. Asa has gone down in price so much, I wouldn't recommend any other material for that particular application. My polymaker Asa prints just as good as your run of the mill pla.

Why use pla on this? Is it meant to be obsolete over a matter of time? Even if it is brushed or spray coated, it still won't hold up to the same as abs, petg, or best of all Asa. I love matter hackers, but I would have chosen to use a copolyester if I was going to be doing a sponsored promo😂 Looks like I might need to just start a 3D print KZitem channel. It's amazing how much misinformation is on here.
