To disable the beep when you change values, press and hold the adjustment knob until you hear a single beep.

Has anyone found the buzzer? At first glance after opening, it's invisible... I saw in a video that it could be deactivated in the options accessible by pressing OUT for 5 seconds, but it doesn't work on mine (purchased 09/2024)

Yess "only" 18 screws and 3pcs 7mm nuts to loose and then put a blob hot glue on this buzzer helps. Just a tape wont be enough ; )

press the output button for more than 5 seconds, that is the system settings menu, you can turn off the buzzer, option 4, search for pdf for more options

@@szabolcs.j Thank you, but for me it was only way too loud, a little accustic feedback as it is now with the blob hot glue on the buzzer is just fine.

What is the purpose of the menu that appears when you hold down the out button? There is nothing in the user manual about it...
@TechTronic9000

Yes, it seems it has a secret menu with various settings from which you might be able to disable the annoying beep, but there is no official info. You might be able to find some info about the settings from the other wanptek models.

You should check the manual, mine doesn't have an option to turn it down, although I have found some info regarding WPS3010H model, "you need to press output button for 5 seconds to put the power supply into 'system settings' mode, then press the voltage knob multiple times until you get to program 4 (buzzer mute), and then change the value from 1 to 0 by rotating the voltage knob." I will later test this also on my model and see if it will work or not.

@@TechTronic9000 So, does it have the option to mute the buzzer?
@wrongsideof40

@@TechTronic9000 Thanks for the video. I've just bought one (the 30V/5A version) and it looks ideal for my needs. The beeper is far too loud so I followed the procedure above to mute the sound. This procedure does work, but the PSU defaults back to 'beepy' mode when next switched on. If you want the mute setting to 'stick', after changing the buzzer mute setting from 1 to 0, press the voltage knob three more times to quit out of the menu. Then all should be well. Does anyone know what the OTHER menu settings alter? Thanks again.

If this is the 300W model as it says in the title of the video and it's set to 30V, it should output 10A, not 5A. "Watts" up with that?
@MartinVisser

You can see in the video that the label shows the model TPS305 (which is the 30V 5A model). They also make a TPS3010 which is 30V and 10A so 300W

@@BigRalphSmith No big deal I think - there are multiple models in the range on shopping sites, and I'm sure are very similar apart from those limits.The main thing I wanted to get out of this users video was how the unit operated.
