I'm truly blown away by realising the mathematical precision required for this design, and how our ancient ancestors came up with such artistic expressions. If it's this complex to draw it on a piece of paper, I wonder how enormously difficult it would have been back in those days to precisely carve and cut stones and metals of gigantic sizes for the same design 🙏🙏
@Dave_en

First they drew on stone slabs and then carved out with precision. Not an easy task but if systematically done can work wonders. Plenty of brainwork goes in to such creations.

This is the most convoluted method of drawing the Sri Yantra I've come across. But what it lacks in straightforwardness, it makes up for in thoroughness and precision. I definitely wouldn't recommend this method to a beginner. But if you have been drawing the sri yantra and already have an idea of how the triangles intersect and are arranged, then this approach can offer fresh insights into the intricate inner workings of the yantra.

The Sri Yantra, also known as the Sri Chakra, is a sacred geometric diagram representing the goddess Lalita Tripurasundari, who is the embodiment of the supreme energy of the universe in the Sri Vidya tradition of Sanatan Hindu Vedic culture. The Sri Yantra is a powerful symbol that holds deep spiritual and metaphysical significance, and it is used as a tool for meditation, worship, and spiritual development. In the Sri Vidya tradition, the Sri Yantra is considered to be the visual representation of the cosmos and the divine feminine energy, known as Shakti. It is believed to embody the essence of the universe and the interconnectedness of all existence. The Sri Yantra is composed of nine interlocking triangles that form a central point called the bindu, representing the cosmic center or the source of creation. The triangles are arranged in such a way that they create a complex, symmetrical pattern with a series of concentric circles, lotus petals, and gates. The Sri Yantra holds great significance in the Sri Vidya Kaal Saparya Paddhati, which is a ritualistic and worship practice within the Sri Vidya tradition. This tradition emphasizes the worship of the goddess Lalita Tripurasundari and the use of the Sri Yantra as a focal point for spiritual practices. The Sri Yantra is used in rituals, meditation, and yantra puja (worship of the geometric diagram) as a means to connect with the divine and attain spiritual elevation. Key aspects of the Sri Yantra and its relevance in the Sri Vidya Kaal Saparya Paddhati include: 1. Spiritual Symbolism: The Sri Yantra is revered as a powerful symbol of divine energy, representing the interconnectedness of the macrocosm and the microcosm, as well as the union of Shiva and Shakti, the masculine and feminine energies. 2. Meditation and Contemplation: Practitioners use the Sri Yantra as a focal point for meditation, visualizing its intricate geometric patterns to attain spiritual insight, inner harmony, and transcendental experiences. 3. Yantra Puja: In the Sri Vidya tradition, the Sri Yantra is worshipped through elaborate rituals and puja ceremonies, where devotees offer prayers, mantras, and sacred offerings to invoke the blessings of the goddess Lalita Tripurasundari. 4. Manifestation of Desires: It is believed that the Sri Yantra possesses the power to fulfill the worldly and spiritual desires of the devotees, provided it is approached with pure intentions and devotion. Overall, the Sri Yantra holds profound significance in the Sri Vidya tradition, serving as a sacred symbol of divine energy, spiritual transformation, and the worship of the goddess Lalita Tripurasundari within the Sanatan Hindu Vedic culture.

I love this creation, it's so beautiful and mesmerizing. I want to get a tattoo on me one day. So I am wanting to draw it. I am very detail oriented person but I cannot figure out the numbers on the ruler to align it to the actual art. For example it help me to know what size to draw everything so I can replicate. My intuition wants me to try without. But its easy to make a mistake with geometry. I am not incredibly experienced with drawing geometric shapes. I do like things to be a little perfect lol.

I think precision in the overall scale isn't necessary, just precision in the angles and connecting points. But, to get the scale right, you can check the first couple of steps, then look ahead to see where the final outlines lie, and check against how the first couple of circles are drawn. When you know how the first couple of circles affect the overall scale, then you can choose the right size to get the final design to be the right size on the page.

if you check the sound of AUM in tonoscope (which makes sound waves visible ) gives this sri yantra form . but we get this knowledge from the rishis who meditate for years which he get by visions in his meditation and it is fundamental sound of vishvamu(universe). so basically every sound has a form and every form has a sound . the science of using sound in which it effects systematically ur system( Body,Mind,Emotion,Energies) positively is called MANTRAS. Mantras are significant for sound of it . mantras effect ur mind very positively . there is research on hare krishna mantra u can google it not only this mantra any mantra u take it will have same effect. thats why SANSTRIT is called language of DIVINE .

Sri Yantra is one of the 3 manifestation Invoking methods on the path of Spirituality. Other Two being Tantra (Rituals) and Mantra ( Hymns and Prayers). Sri Yantra were and still are one of the most powerful physical tools to manifest things in your life, it was designed specially for common people who didnt have much knowledge of Spiritualism. The patterns are based on different Sound frequencies like 528 hz. There's Sri Yantra for Money, Health, Prosperity, Luck, etc. Sadly not many know about them and market is filled with fake ones as well. But its crazy how Ancient Indians around 1000 BCE made manifestation physical tools, I dont think after N. Tesla anyone ever made any such tools again.

superb bro! I am not sure what your religious inclination is, but I would recommend you go beyond drawing the Sri Chakra - delve deeper into reciting chants that elevates all the energies from the Sri Chakra and its 3D rendering which is call Sri Maha Mehru or the cosmic mount. This is the ultimate, in each of the points in Sri chakra resides a form of energy and in the centre where there is a dot - Bindu mandala the supreme energy or deity resides....your soul will thank you! You have a gift... God bless you!
